Kelsey

Kelsey lives and trains alongside her four dogs Ender and Tuna (Belgian Malinois), Gigi (Border Collie), and Toodles (Chihuahua). Her approach is rooted in clarity, consistency, and helping dogs feel calm and confident in everyday life. 

With over 10 years of experience training her own personal dogs, Kelsey brings hands-on knowledge across obedience, behavior work, and high-level dog sports. What began as a personal passion grew naturally into a profession, leading her to pursue formal education and certification so she could help other dogs and owners build balanced, trusting relationships.  

In 2015, Kelsey completed her Professional Trainer Certification through National K-9, an Ohio State Board-approved program, where she and her German Shepherd Dog successfully completed an intensive Master Trainer course. She is certified in Canine First Aid and CPR, Basic and Advanced Obedience, Behavior Modification, Tracking, Scent Detection, Retrieval, Assistance Dog Training, and is an AKC CGC Evaluator.  

Kelsey actively competes in Protection Sports Association (PSA), one of the most demanding working-dog sports in the world. In 2025, she and her Belgian Malinois Ender earned their PSA3 title, a milestone reached by only 51 dogs worldwide at the time, reflecting years of disciplined training and a deep dog-handler partnership. 

 Today, Kelsey brings that same thoughtful, honest approach into her programs, focusing on clear communication, fair structure, and helping dogs understand what’s expected of them. Her goal is simple: calm dogs, confident owners, and more peaceful homes.
